Hokuryu Himawari Osteopathic Clinic (Director Hikaru Tanimoto, 47 years old) will celebrate its 9th anniversary this year on Monday, May 23, 2022. In preparation for its 10th anniversary next year, we have decided to launch a website for Hokuryu Himawari Osteopathic Clinic.

We commissioned Chiyozaki Fumiya, a native of Hokuryu Town, to create the website. In preparation for the website's launch, we interviewed Chiyozaki and Director Tanimoto Hikaru.

Fumiya Chiyozaki (25 years old) is originally from Hokuryu Town and lived there until his elementary and junior high school years. It was a coincidence that Chiyozaki's family home and Tanimoto Hikaru's grandfather's home were next door to each other.

He is also a classmate of Mina, the daughter of the owner of the restaurant Himawari (Hokuryu Town).Himawari Restaurant's websitewas established and is still in operation today.

Currently, as a member of the Kamisunagawa Town Regional Revitalization Cooperation Team, she is active in running dance classes for the elderly and children, making use of her original open-style dance.

Reason for starting business: Wanting to help the people of my hometown, Hokuryu

When I was a full-time teacher at Hokkaido Sports College (Sapporo), I was thinking about opening a business in Sapporo.

However, he heard that there was no osteopathic clinic in his hometown of Hokuryu Town, and that the townspeople had to take the bus to a nearby osteopathic clinic, which took an entire day, so he decided to open a clinic in his hometown.

At first, I had a strong desire to help the townspeople, but I also wanted to use my qualifications as a sports trainer to actively respond to needs such as sports treatment and preventative guidance, so the scope of my treatment gradually expanded.

Now, the clinic has become known not only within the town but also outside (Sorachi and Rumoi areas), and patients come from a wide range of areas, from Haboro Town in the north to Naie Town in the south.
