A message from Representative Director Shigeki Mizutani

Shigeki Mizutani, Representative Director of Honoka Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, said,

“Although there has been less snow this year, agricultural work is proceeding at roughly the same pace as usual.

However, this year, we are concerned that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic will lead to a decline in demand for rice, melons, and other crops. We are worried about a drop in melon prices and a drop in crop sales prices due to a decrease in tourists.

"We will do our best to do everything we can to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus while paying the utmost attention to its prevention," said Representative Director Mizutani.
