COVID-19 Countermeasures [Hokuryu Town Disaster Prevention Radio] Town-sponsored meetings and events to be scaled down or postponed until March 31st (Tuesday)

We will report on the content that was broadcast on Hokuryu Town's disaster prevention radio (broadcast to every household and speaker in Hokuryu Town) on Tuesday, March 17th at 18:30.

The town has extended the deadline for reducing and postponing town-sponsored meetings until Tuesday, March 31st.

In response to Hokkaido's state of emergency declaration, Hokuryu Town has extended the scale-down or postponement of town-sponsored meetings and events, which were scheduled to end on Thursday, March 19th, until Tuesday, March 31st.

In addition, the community center, improvement center (gymnasium), library, local history museum, Hekisui Living Center, Miba Beef Training Center, town-run ski resort, processing center Food and Agriculture Workshop Palm, and tourist center will be closed until Tuesday, March 31st.

The town-run ski resort has finished its season

This marks the end of the town-run ski resort for this year.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our residents, and we ask for your continued cooperation in preventing the spread of infection.

From Hokuryu Town Board of Education: Library Book Lending

This is information regarding library book lending. The library is currently closed due to the impact of COVID-19, but we are accepting inquiries about lending books over the phone.

You will not be able to enter the library, but we will confirm the book over the phone and you can borrow it by coming to the community center to pick it up.

Reception: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am to 5pm

Reservations can be made by phone on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Consultation on book titles, etc.
