On the 16th, the prefecture will open a cafe called "Ai Ai Hokkaido Coffee" in Taichung, Taiwan, with the aim of expanding sales channels for Hokkaido products. In addition to incorporating Hokkaido ingredients into the menu, they will also be sold on a trial basis as individual items. By promoting the appeal of Hokkaido, the prefecture aims to expand sales channels. This will be the first time that the prefecture has developed a cafe-focused business overseas. The prefecture will entrust its operation to a local corporation established by the Hokkaido Information Center (Sapporo).
