Old Sapporo Line, Hekisui Station Open Day: "The Spirit of Japan" illuminated on a snowy night

A special Valentine's night story that will brighten up the winter in Hokuryu Town. The Hekisui Station building, which once supported people's lives, will be specially opened to the public, bathed in warm light. Come share the "kindness" that has been nurtured in this place, by the light of ice candles.

Hekisui Station Light-up

Here, children and adults from Hokuryu Town join hands to create a single landscape, experiencing the "joy of co-creation."

Light content

• Paper bag lanterns made in collaboration with children from Hokuryu Town were lit up
• A total of over 100 ice candles were lit
• Drop-shaped balloon ice candle lit
• Winter decorations for station buildings
