On Saturday, May 1st, starting at 8:00 a.m., a road cleanup was carried out by the Yawara Neighborhood Association Senior Citizens Club in Kitary\u016b Town (Chairman Kanayama Nobuyuki).<\/p>\n

The Wa Neighborhood Association Senior Citizens Club is open to anyone aged 65 or over who lives in the Wa Neighborhood Association, and aims to foster friendship and harmony among members, working together to create enjoyable relationships. Currently, the club has 70 members.<\/p>\n

On the day, despite the cold wind, about 20 members participated. They picked up trash and cans along Route 94 from the Wa Neighborhood Association garbage station to Hokuryu Bridge, as well as on town roads, helping to clean up the road environment.<\/p>\n

Each participant brought a garbage bag and collected garbage, cans, pieces of wood, etc. that had fallen on the banks and irrigation channels along a road about 2.4 km one way.<\/p>\n
