Silence spread across the dawn sky, and the soft morning sun peeked out in the crisp, clear air.<\/p>\n<p>It&#039;s a refreshing sight, fitting for the start of a new month.<\/p>\n<p>Then, in the early hours of yesterday, the 21st (Sunday), we received news that a thin layer of the first snow had been observed near the summit of Mount Asahi in the Daisetsuzan mountain range.<\/p>\n<p>The seasons are quietly progressing from summer to autumn and then to winter.<\/p>\n<p>The refreshing morning light and the news of the first snow.
