[Hokuryu Town Social Welfare Council]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday, September 4, 2025<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, September 20th, you can experience a magical moment as a small stone transforms into an adorable cat in your hands.<strong>&quot;Stone Cat Art Class&quot;<\/strong>The event will be held at the Hokuryu Town Senior Citizens Welfare Center and is sponsored by the Hokuryu Town Social Welfare Council&#039;s &quot;Minna no Hiroba Omusubi&quot; (Everyone&#039;s Square Rice Ball).<\/p>\n<p>All you need is acrylic paint and your own imagination. As you gaze intently at the shapes and patterns of the stones, you might even imagine a cat&#039;s soft back and round eyes. This is an art experience that anyone can enjoy, from children to adults, whether they love drawing or aren&#039;t so good at it.<\/p>\n<h3>Lecturer: Tadashi Seto, an artist living in Hokuryu Town<\/h3>\n<p>The lecturer will be an artist living in Hokuryu Town.<strong>Tadashi Seto<\/strong>The cats, painted on stones on the riverbank with warm, almost lifelike expressions, are also entertaining many visitors at the Hokuryu Town Cultural Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Seto breathes life into each and every cat with love, making the most of the natural shapes and colors of the stones. Why not create your own special &quot;stone cat&quot; under his warm guidance?<\/p>\n<h3>Event Overview<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date and Time:<\/strong>Saturday, September 20, 2025\n<ul>\n<li>Part 1:
