Preparations are steadily underway at Hokuryu Town's Sunflower Village for the opening of the 39th Sunflower Festival. We bring you the latest information on highlights such as the Jumbo Maze and the Sunflowers of the World Corner. You might even have a heartwarming encounter with tourists from Shiga Prefecture. The beautiful sunflowers have just begun to bloom and are eagerly awaiting your visit.<\/div>\n

Preparation work progressing steadily<\/h2>\n

There are just five days left until the opening of the 39th Sunflower Festival 2025 on Sunday, July 20th.
\nPreparations are steadily progressing at Himawari no Sato.
\nWe are working hard to prepare to welcome as many people as possible!<\/p>\n

The people we met at the World Sunflower Fields were a wonderful couple from Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, who were traveling in a camper van!!!<\/p>\n

"Every time I visit Hokkaido, I look forward to visiting the Sunflower Village in Hokuryu Town!" we received very kind words from them.<\/p>\n
