The 8th Hokuryu Kendama Festival was held at the Hokuryu Town Community Center on Tuesday, June 24th. Fifteen members of the Hokuryu Kendama Club were divided into three teams, and despite the heat, they energetically enjoyed the competition. On the day, heated battles were waged across three events, creating a lively atmosphere at the venue. The next event is planned for the Sunflower Festival, and it is expected that world-class players will attend.<\/div>\n

The 8th Hokuryu Kendama Festival, sponsored by the Hokuryu Kendama Club (Representative: Naoki Kishi), was held at the Hokuryu Town Community Center Large Hall from 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24th.<\/p>\n

The temperature on this day reached a record high of 30\u00b0C, and even at 6pm it was still over 25\u00b0C. The breeze blowing through the windows of the community center's large hall seemed to cool down our hot bodies.<\/p>\n

Fifteen members of the Hokuryu Kendama Club participated enthusiastically and had a great time playing Kendama.<\/p>\n

The competition was divided into three teams (five people per team) and competed against each other.
\nThe team names are "Giants," "Daiei," and "Kintetsu"!<\/p>\n

Each team will play twice and the winner will be determined by the total points.
\nOnce the kendama balls on the five tables are upright and checked to make sure they do not fall over, the competitor returns to the starting point and touches the next player, who then continues the competition with the kendama balls on the next table.<\/p>\n

The player sticks the ball into one of the kendama balls placed on the five tables, stands it up, and once they have confirmed that it does not fall over, they return to the starting point and touch the next player, who then continues the competition with the kendama placed on the next table.<\/p>\n
