The Hokuryu Town "Sunflower Tourism and Product Fair" 2020 was held for three days from Sunday, November 1st to Tuesday, November 3rd at the west plaza of the Kita 3-jo intersection in the Sapporo Ekimae-dori underground plaza.

Implemented by All Hokuryu<\/h2>\n

The fair was held with the aim of promoting Hokuryu Town's specialty products and promoting tourism, and was led by the Hokuryu Town Office, with support from the JA Kitasorachi Hokuryu Branch, Hokuryu Promotion Corporation, Kurosengoku Business Cooperative, and the Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association. It was an all-Hokuryu event.<\/p>\n

Several staff members from each organization participated, and a total of about 20 people took turns enthusiastically selling products in person and working to promote Hokuryu Town.<\/p>\n

New Hokkaido Style COVID-19 Countermeasures<\/h3>\n

At the event venue, Sapporo Chikaho, in order to prevent COVID-19, entry was by following the New Hokkaido style, with temperature checks, disinfection, and mask wearing required.<\/p>\n

Newly harvested rice from Hokuryu Town (JA Kitasorachi Hokuryu Branch)<\/h3>\n

We sell a 5-go (approx. 16 sq. m) scoop of new rice "Nanatsuboshi" from Hokuryu Town, as well as Kitakurin, Oborozuki, Yumepirika, glutinous rice "Kaze no Ko," and germinated brown rice "Nanatsuboshi."<\/p>\n
