The Hokkaido Shimbun D Select Corner, an internet site run by the Hokkaido Shimbun newspaper (Sapporo), has published an article (dated January 23rd) entitled "Are ski slopes dependent on foreign tourists? Hokkaido residents are drifting away, a 'crisis' looms over the ski kingdom of Hokkaido (analyzed by Digital Committee member Funazaki)." We would like to introduce this article to you.<\/p>\n

The article was written by Masato Funazaki, Digital Committee Member, who is originally from Kitary\u016b Town in the Sorachi region. He joined the company in 1997 and has held positions in the Economic Department, the Tokyo News Center, and London before assuming his current position in March 2023.<\/p>\n
