On Tuesday, January 10th, from 6pm, the Hokuryu Kendama Club hosted the "Children vs Adults Weakness Battle" at the Hokuryu Town Rural Environment Improvement Center Kendo Room (2nd floor). Ten children and four adults participated, and they took on techniques they were not good at in a serious, energetic and fun way!<\/p>\n

This event is a one-on-one competition between children and adults!
\nYou will challenge yourself with techniques that you are not good at and battle to see who can complete them first.<\/p>\n

The children and adults were divided into groups and each group competed against each other one by one! The order was decided by drawing lots.<\/p>\n

In the first match, the children's group won by a landslide, 7:3!<\/p>\n

Gradually, the adult group began to show their strength and the competition continued.
\nIn the second match, the adult group won 6:4!<\/p>\n

Experience battles you wouldn't normally get to experience, such as one-on-one battles between children and adults (parent-child battles)!
\nThe joy of children beating adults is especially intense, and the smiles on their faces erupt!!!

"We planned this competition because we wanted the children to experience the joy, happiness, and fun that comes from a successful experience, and for the adults to have time to interact with the children. The joy and fun of saying 'I did it!' that comes from this successful experience is the key to improvement," said Representative Kishi.<\/p>\n

The 3rd Hokuryu Kendama Festival<\/h2>\n

"Next week on Saturday, January 21st, the 3rd Hokuryu Kendama Festival will be held at the Hokuryu Town Community Center Large Hall (2nd floor) from 2:00 p.m. There will be competitions such as unicorn races and trick battles, so please come and participate," the event announcement said.<\/p>\n

Doric Battle<\/h3>\n

The Doric Battle uses a points system, with points added for each clear. Children will be excited and thrilled by the challenge!!!
\nEveryone is practicing seriously and having fun in preparation for the 3rd Hokuryu Kendama Festival.<\/p>\n
