Hokuryu Town was introduced as a representative of the Sorachi region in the Rishiri Town Board of Education's supplementary elementary school social studies reader for third and fourth graders, "Rishiri" (A4 color, 74 pages).<\/p>\n

We would like to introduce "The Extensive Rice Fields of Hokuryu Town" which was featured in "Chapter 7: Our Roads and Urban Development - [2. Local People's Lives and Urban Development] (2) Kamikawa District (Asahikawa City) and Sorachi District (Hokuryu Town)." The photograph was taken using the Hokuryu Town Portal.<\/p>\n
