Due to their high nutritional value, they were traditionally cultivated as feed for military horses, but due to the difficulty of cultivating them, such as the fact that they require more sunlight than other soybeans, cultivation ceased in the 1970s. The &quot;Mythical Kurosengoku Soybeans,&quot; which were revived from just 28 soybeans by farmers in Hokuryu Town, are rich in polyphenols and anthocyanins, and are sold not only as raw beans but also as processed soybeans and teas, with the hope that many people will be able to enjoy the nutritional benefits of Kurosengoku soybeans.<\/p>\n<h3>Sunflower rice<\/h3>\n<p>Himawari Rice is low-pesticide rice grown using less than 50% of synthetic chemical pesticides.
